What the range solves

Every garland in the range runs nine feet or more, so one length covers a standard porch rail or doorway without joining two sets together.
Lit before it is hung
The lights are wired into the garland itself, so there is no separate string to untangle and the mode controller sits at the plug end where it can be reached.
Sealed for outdoor use
Plugs, cables and controllers are sealed for sheltered outdoor positions, and each set is run once at the bench before the parcel is closed.
About Evergreen Lane
Evergreen Lane began with a porch rail that could not be decorated with a single garland bought locally. Everything came in short lengths and every set needed an extension lead, so the rail ended up covered in joins that showed.
The range here is deliberately short. A nine-foot pre-lit garland, the same piece with gold flower heads worked into it, a real-touch Norfolk pine garland, a run of twinkle lights and an inflatable tree for a lawn: pieces that cover the places greenery usually gets hung.
Each listing leads with the numbers, because holiday greenery is bought by measurement. Unlit length, the drop from the rail, the number of bulbs and the distance from the last fitting to the plug are all stated in plain figures.
Light sets are run once at the bench before dispatch, and the controller is checked through all eight modes and the timer. Anything whose cable has a nick or whose plug has a cracked housing comes off the shelf rather than going out with a warning.
Orders placed before the daily cut-off are packed the next working day, and one national carrier handles every parcel.

Before you order
Can the garland stay outside in the rain?
The sets are sealed for sheltered outdoor positions such as a porch, a doorway or under an overhang. Water must not sit on the plug or controller, so an exposed position with no cover is not suitable.
How long is the cable from the last light to the plug?
The lead length is stated on each listing beside the power details. Most porch rails reach with the cable supplied; where they do not, a weatherproof outdoor extension is the usual answer.
Do the lights stay on all night?
The eight-mode controller includes a timer. Left in timer mode the display runs for the set period and then goes dark until the same time the following evening.
Is the garland lit along its whole length?
Bulbs are spaced along the full run rather than clustered at one end, and the spacing in inches is given in the listing.
A bulb fails in the first season - what happens?
Send a photograph of the failed set and a replacement goes out under the one-season replacement cover.
